Our pipe cleaning process

The rearward thrust of high pressure water forces the nozzle through the sewer pipe. As the hose reel is rewound, the high pressure water scours the pipe, back flushing the debris to the inlet, where it is removed by the intake pipe.

The removed material is conveyed by air into the debris box on the truck, where air is separated from dirt and fine dust by centrifugal separators built into the box. Clean air enters the compressor and discharges to the atmosphere.

Our Training

All our crews are highly qualified and average 15 years experience. Each crew member is individually certified and recertified by the owner. New crew members serve as assistants for several years until they are proficient in all aspects of pipe cleaning, pipe troubleshooting and restoring systems to service.

Our Quality Assurance

After thorough cleaning a complete inspection of the pipe is made using a TV inspection system. A color TV camera connected to a control cable is snaked through the full length of the pipe while recording to VHS tape or CD. This process allows the operator to verify the pipe has been properly cleaned and provides a permanent record that the cleaning services have been performed. Additionally, the pipe can be inspected for damage, improper installation and other conditions that may affect performance.
